{"id":4644,"date":"2018-05-11T12:56:09","date_gmt":"2018-05-11T12:56:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stierli.net\/dominik\/?p=4644"},"modified":"2018-05-11T14:25:04","modified_gmt":"2018-05-11T14:25:04","slug":"kreuzfahrt-2018-southampton-beeindruckende-stonehenge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stierli.net\/dominik\/kreuzfahrt-2018-southampton-beeindruckende-stonehenge\/","title":{"rendered":"Kreuzfahrt 2018: Southampton: Beeindruckende Stonehenge"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>In Southampton durften wir unsere Kinder in die Obhut der Grosseltern geben und machten einen Ausflug nach Stonehenge und Salisbury.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Zuerst ging es mit dem modernen Reisecar etwas abseits der Autobahn durch eine Wald- und Wiesenlandschaft mit freilebenden Ponys. Das Wetter war stark ver\u00e4nderlich, so hatten wir von Sonnenschein bis Starkregen alles auf der halbst\u00fcndigen Fahrt. Beim Besucherzentrum von Stonehenge angekommen, mussten wir gut 30 Minuten warten bis uns ein Shuttle-Bus zum Steinkreis brachte. Unterdessen war es aber immerhin wieder trocken.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Wir nahmen uns ausgiebig Zeit, um das mehr als 5000 Jahre alte Bauwerk zu begutachten und mit grossem Abstand zu umrunden. Es ist wirklich beeindruckend zu sehen, was vor Tausenden Jahren von Menschenhand erstellt wurde. Von speziellen Schwingungen wurden wir allerdings nicht erreicht. :-). Mit dem Shuttle ging es zur\u00fcck zum Besucherzentrum, wo wir uns mit Sandwiches s\u00e4ttigten. Es blieb gerade noch Zeit im Shop und in der Ausstellung herumzuschauen.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Weiter ging die Fahrt nach Salisbury. Diese englische Stadt hat \u00fcber 40&#8217;000 Einwohner und macht einen gem\u00fctlichen Eindruck. Bedeutendstes Bauwerk ist die aus dem 13. Jahrhundert stammende Kathedrale. Mit 123 Meter besitzt diese den h\u00f6chsten Kirchturm Englands. Zudem ist in der Kirche eines von noch vier erhaltenen Exemplaren der Magna Carta ausgestellt. Auf diesem Dokument von 1218 gingen die Menschenrechte und zahlreiche Verfassungen hervor.<br \/>\nEs blieb danach noch Zeit, um das St\u00e4dtchen anzuschauen, einen Kaffee zu nehmen und noch Windeln f\u00fcr Kira einzukaufen.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Danach waren wir just zum Start von neuem Regen zur\u00fcck bei unserem Bus mit dem es retour zum Schiff
